This cold is relentless and refuses to let me out of the house without promise of a dripping nose and growly throat (which is actually fine by me as generally I sound like a small child and the geriatric smoker is a welcome change). As a result I've spent a lot of time perusing the internet looking at blogs (though not commenting much as my last post is evidence of my present intellectual shortcomings) watching videos of dogs freaking out to the law and order theme (also watching law and order), taking digital tours of museums and being consistently outbid on ebay hat lots (much to my chagrin). Landon, however, has been productive and has been daily updating The Company of People (take a gander, lots of great sculpture and collage work).
Today we venture out, hanky in hand, to hand in adoption forms for our future fluffy housemate, wish us luck! This (important cat videos) is old news but just in case and because I wanted to leave you with something from this otherwise flat entry! Kittens!
Ahhhh!! I cant wait for you to get a kitten Hannah. I love mine more than anything else in the world. xxx
ReplyDeleteMan..You need to blog more ~ yours is my favourite & I get a tingle of excitment as soon as you post! Maybe I should get a life & leave the house more?
ReplyDelete1st is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon! I love sore throats because I think women who sound like they have phelgm in their throats are much sultrier, and I always want to be sultrier! Sometimes I try to keep pretending I still have a sore throat just so I can stay sultry long after my cold goes away. But other than that, colds are no fun so I hope it goes away soon!

ReplyDeleteSpeaking of cats - my friend tells me I'll be like the lady in this video: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypMl2RFTC9Y" about 40 years from now... I kind of like it! People who love cats are the best ones, right?
