Pictures from our Easter weekend trip with Wray to her wonderful family home in Connecticut. It was perfect! Again, I must cut this a bit short due to benadryl induced daze (in attempt to tame a collection of itchy red bumps on my face that feel like misquote bites and are refusing to go away. Has this ever happened to any of you?) I've heard that allergies have been particularly bad this season. I promise I'll stop bombarding you with my various skin ailments one day. I made a few silly videos of our last two spring weekends that you can see here and here (featuring turkeys and turtles)!
Goodnight friends!
P.S. Our servers have been down quite a bit these last few weeks so if you've emailed us and not heard back please email us again and we'll get back to you, many apologies for the inconvenience! Also, Landon has made a new website (ANOTHER WEBSITE!) for his design projects - I think it's quite beautiful!
so pretty! for some reason, i especially like that you shot these in black and white. that third picture intrigues me - what is it, exactly?

Oh! Wonderful photos. They make me feel tingly and happy after a strange, endless day. I think allergy season is awful this year, my nose is an awful repository for leaking snot. I hope your skin ailment cure themselves soon!

I do love Landon's design work. I have always loved his websites, posters, et cetera.
ReplyDeleteIt's unusual to see pictures in balck and white, but these are lovely. And those hats, those are great.
ReplyDeleteThey give the pictures a different feel, especially with the addition of the bones on one picture.

So pretty it hurts. x
ReplyDeletelady, have you tried local honey? it can be taken medicinally and because it has all the local pollens in it you start developing an immunity to them. you can also apply it right to your face and it's antimicrobial/moisturizing properties might soothe your skin.
ReplyDeletestunning photos as usual hannah. i really love the connecticut film. it's really beautiful, yet eerie in a strange way that I love! I feel like it's building up to something sinister.
ReplyDeleteamazing pictures... love <3

oh, these photos look fantastic. you look fantastic
ReplyDeleteMy allergies manifest like that too. At first I thought "holy shit, what if we have bed bugs!" but yeah, itchy red bumps+Spring=allergies. Hope it gets better for you, it's been driving me up the wall.
ReplyDeleteBut what I really wanted to say is- you two are such a lovely couple! I adore getting to see little glimpses of your lives through such pretty photography. Not to sound like a creep.
The last picture is my absolute favorite. It looks like something that should be painted.

lovely pictures! please tell me you found those bones on what would turn out to be the archeological discovery of the decade..????
ReplyDeletealso, about the skin trouble: i had a lot of those, particularly when i came down with the ol' mono, and now i'm fearing for my skin's wellbeing now that spring is coming and there's a HUGE CLOUD OF ASH planning to crash our party up in scandinavia. in short, i hope benadryl is fun :(
Can I just say Hannah... that you are an inspiration. I just adore your posts and images. Thank you ever so much :)

these photos are great and i'm so jealous of the turkeys and turtles!
ReplyDeletei have really bad allergies too. i used to get hives (if that's what the itchy bumps are - probably), but i don't really any more. i found a recipe for a really great oatmeal face mask that i used to use. it's so soothing and makes your skin really soft and not itchy! i'll try to find it again for you, it really helped a lot.

I also enjoyed the Connecticut country side bare foot on Easter weekend
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!
ReplyDeleteSometimes your husband looks like Jack White to me. I think it's a good thing!
ReplyDeletethese pictures are absolutely stunning!

sarah: the bones belong to a deer! (the jaw bone, I believe) I'm not sure what the tiny bone in the middle is however, mystery!
