out-takes from a little project we've been working, landon flexing his "fashion photo" muscle and me squinting and grinning at the camera. all of the above photos were taken with borrowed dream camera contax g2 with the exception of the window picture which was taken using beloved pentax k1000. on the subject of projects the little scrap project we were working on for AA is now available online here. having worked in the factory and seeing the amount of fabrics disposed of daily i think it's a wonderful idea to make use of every last scrap. i hope that it will perhaps encourage other large manufacturers to do the same.

new work now up on The Company of People including that of our lovely houseguest John de Lima. He and his most beautiful ladyfriend have been staying with us for the last week and i'll be quite sore to see them leave. be sure to check out the Company Diary also, as it is now being updated on a regular basis and will soon be featuring interviews with exciting new talents.

finally, i have a question regarding comments on blogspot. do you find it is easiest for you (the commenter) to have me reply on your personal blog or on the comment section here? it's something i've never quite figured out and wish that blogspot would introduce an individual comment reply. what do you figure friends?

    you're absolutely gorgeous, hannah!

i get e-mail notifications for comments on my blog so replies are easier there. i wish blogger had individual reply buttons, too.

  5. i also wish that blogspot had its own personal reply buttons. i dont like to elect to receive the follow up comment emails because then i also get a stream of comments that werent really intended for me.

anyways, i do love these photos that landon takes of you, hannah. you're such a doll.

  6. Beautiful photographs, I love them! Just found your blog and it's so cute!

Wish blogger would also have a 'reply to' where you get notified, but I guess since they don't it's best to reply to people at their own journal. :) x

  11. U dreamingly beautiful creature!

Think it might be better in general to reply on the other blogs but that would perhaps also be more time consuming.., hmm

  12. Love that bow and white lace blouse. Well good photos.
I prefer is someone replies to a comment into the commenter´s blog since one hardly ever gp back to someones post to see if the comments is replied..Don´t know if that made sense...

  13. these photographs are beautiful! my favourite is the one of you on the sofa.
i prefer replies on my blog, only because i moderate my comments so that it is easier to check them.

  14. oh yikes, miss. these photos are loverly.

it's always flattering when people comment on my blog. it is frustrating that blogger doesn't have an reply-to-individual-comments button, but this way more blogs and profiles get read, yeah?

  16. In all of my blogging days, I have never seen such a spectacular blog as yours.

I would like to know what brand and shade of hair color you use. I am yet to find a nice brown tone!
And what do you do to style your locks? I am in need of some good taming advice as well.

I can't wait to see what comes next.

    Never cease to be darling.

  17. I have been a lurker on your blog (through nothing more than laziness) for some time now and I just wanted to say that I LOVE your blog. Landon's photography is beautiful, and your outfits are always amazing. You're pretty much my favourite style inspiration at the moment so I thought I should really thank you!
    I like your bow.

  18. Lovely lovely photos. As always. And yes, what's up with bloger had a reply function on comments. But I'm of the opinion that one should answer on whoever comments own blog, that way they will def see it, and it's also kind of nice to show the effort done rather than expecting everyone to return and check for one reply among the sea of comments.

  19. You're gorgeous. Wish I could see some more lovely pieces from your wardrobe, as you showed in a recent post. This time maybe you could wear them :) I love your style!

  20. Really digging the shots... what's Landon got up his sleeve for these beauties?
Also, so magically fantastic that Justin Trousersnake wrote about you :)
On another note, I like it when people comment back on my blog as I get an email notification and don't have to repeatedly check back.
    Cheers m'dears.

  22. the picture in front of the mirror is one of the most gorgeous pictures i've ever seen.

i don't know why. maybe it's because of my fondness for dirty mirrors.

  25. i was in nyc on saturday, and i passed the two of you in a crosswalk. i did a doubletake, but didn't know if should introduce myself. i figured briskly walking in opposite directions in the middle of a busy street wasn't the best place to say hello. but hello!

  36. Tab: thank you for the sweet words! fortunately for me both of landon's parents are extremely talented hairstylists so i'm lucky enough to have my own colour mixed! unfortunately, however, i'm not always able to see them when the roots come through and must turn to the drugstore where i usually poke around for ages looking for the right colour cos i've forgotten what i've purchased in the past. generally it is "dark auburn" or "dark mahogany". i apologize as this is probably not very helpful but wish you luck on your quest for the right hue! xx
