a very thin mustache
Much of today was spent reclining as pictured above with what feels like an exploding head (do you remember those cold medicine commercials where the people were walking around with huge heads? I've never seen a more accurate depiction of the common cold). My languid state no doubt the result of a busy week of visitors and filling my shoes with cold wet slush. Last week we had the pleasure of hosting my most beloved brother Liam (Guy Smiley plus Shaun White) and his wonderful girlfriend Ali (who has the best cat ever). There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with my family and so I happily embrace runny nose, achy cheeks and leaky eyes (lack of taste-buds, I do not embrace you). I would like to write a bit more but brain is failing me and desires more sleep (I have been writing this sentence for a good five minutes). I hope you are all well! I've not found my brown dress girl just yet, but I have hope!

ReplyDeleteI hope you get better soon!

LOVING the Jon Waters mustache. hilarity. sometimes i am so envious of dudes simply for facial hair; women only get shamed for having it but dudes get to change their appearance so much just with a few more or a few less hairs!
ReplyDeletehope you feel better! i totally agree about that stuffed up gigantic head feeling... not a good one.
Likes that light and grain!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos as usual, hannah
ReplyDeletehope that you get well soon
xx
Hannah, just wanted to say I love the combination of your blog and your tumblr... your tumblr is very very inspirational and I like the sleek (mostly) all photo stream, and absolutely love your beautiful blog (and still excited about any future changes you have for it) with it's quirky and romantic personal comments. And of course your lovely flikr... if only all interesting people on the internet had as nice of sites as you. :) ;/ Hope you're better soon and I can't wait for the brown dress girl to find you! Sorry for the lengthy comment.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Miss Smog
aw, i love getting visits from my little brother. the best of times, even if you end up sick!
ReplyDeleteCold slush in your shoes is terrible. I hope you're feeling better soon!

hannah, i've been following your blog since the livejournal days and just wanted to compliment all the lovely things you do. I did want to ask which beauty school you went to?? i'm considering going myself and the name just escaped me!
ReplyDeleteMmm, as always a wonderful post. Possibly full time lurker here? I believe this is the first time I've commented. But you know, those dolls were just too frightening not to be commented about. My grandparents used to give me china dolls as a child, but I always had an irrational fear that one day they would all be there laying outside my door or something equally horrible.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the feel of these grainy black and white photos. So atmospheric.
